Atlantic Brewing Company

Town Hill, Bar Harbor, Maine

This busy, seasonal estate brewery includes three buildings housing an office/gift shop, tavern, and the brewery itself, all surrounding a simple, granite and stone dust courtyard. This courtyard serves as an intimate landscape cafe and center for frequent cookouts and other festive events. The structures were carefully positioned to create an outward image of a serene farmstead surrounding a sheltered contemporary space.
