Portland Museum of Art

The Portland Museum of Art selected four architecture and design teams representing professionals from across the world as finalists to plan and design its  expansion and campus unification plan. MBLA was honored to be teamed with Adjaye Associates, whose design proposal featured the relocation of the museum entry to High Street, inviting visitors through an expanded Shaw Sculpture Garden. The landscape scheme emphasized shared museum and public landscape spaces that wrap the entire museum campus.
