Portals and Loops proposes a unique recreational experience serving Tempe, Phoenix and Scottsdale. The program acknowledges and preserves the Salt River Project’s canals and trails within the three cities, while raising visitors’ awareness of the desert climate, local water ways, and the natural and cultural histories of the region.
