Fallingwater Cottages

MBLA collaborated with Wendell Burnette Architects, in support of their second-place entry for the Fallingwater Cottages. The scheme established a common area at the northern edge of an existing pasture and discretely placed a series of cottages within the forest edge. The approach emphasized a direct relationship with the bias of the topography, while at the same time maximizing views and natural lighting and respecting the existing agrarian setting.
