Front Range Retreat

Landscape construction is wrapping up at Front Range Retreat, an expansive residence located in Boulder, Colorado. MBLA collaborated with Lake|Flato to develop overall site strategies on this beautiful, long and narrow lakefront site, which is characterized by a significant grade change, and native waterfront landscape. Native landscape plantings provide privacy and an effortless transition to the varied surroundings, accentuating the views to the flatirons and adjacent foothills. The design process emphasized the arrangement of arrival spaces, buildings, parking, and swimming pool, and the landscape design includes many outside spaces, such as an arrival garden, private courtyard, outdoor dining and play spaces.
