Currently a parking lot, this prime waterfront site is being developed into a mixed-use district including a hotel, luxury residential units, office space, commercial space and public space. MBLA consulted on this project, providing master plan concepts and initial design studies. A large public plaza is at the core of the development providing a flexible space for seating and events. The water's edge is activated with a continuous wrapping boardwalk allowing public circulation along the waterfront. Visitors can engage directly with the water via generous steps extending below the high tide mark, providing a resting spot during low tide.
